Principal Urges Students to Exercise Greater Sense of Awareness

Principal of Bishop Gibson High School for Girls in Mandeville, Manchester Donna Legister-Hendricks is urging students to exercise a greater sense of awareness, while traveling to and from school, with criminal activities on the rise.

Recently a man appeared to be mentally challenged took to social media threatening to abduct women and girls in the town of Mandeville. During an interview with CVM LIVE, she reiterates that social media threats should be used as a guide for safety.

Also, one woman said students should be extremely cautious and help themselves by devising get-away strategies. Many students across Jamaica have suffered the grave misfortune of ending up on the list of missing persons. Watch the full report:
