Stakeholders of Sundown Palms in Portmore, St Catherine are at their wit’s end owed to constant dust and noise pollution spurred by a controversial construction. The people are lobbying the authorities to act now in the interest of lives and livelihoods beyond the borders of the site.
It’s been months that developers have been allegedly constructing what is suspected to be a new apartment complex here, and months likewise that neighbouring schools and homes have been under the weather. Parents lament constant trips to the hospital with their young ones, the main suspect, of course the dust.
