The police are dismissing claims of double standard in the investigation involving former Agriculture and Fisheries Minister, Floyd Green. Deputy Commissioner of police in charge of crime, Fitz Bailey, says they are awaiting a response from the hotel where the social gathering took place earlier this month.

Public outrage followed the viral video involving former agriculture and Fisheries Minister Floyd Green and other public officials at what appears to be a birthday party on a designated no-movement day.

Apologies and resignations came immediately, But the critics have been asking about the police’s investigation into the matter.

Deputy Commissioner Fitz Bailey, says his team has reached out to the hotel management for CCTV footage, and that all protocols must be observed.
