Chairman of the Jamaica Police Federation, Corporal Rohan James is calling for a ministerial order to allow police officers on duty, access to toll roads across the country. Corporal James says it is very clear how the current restrictions affect cases of emergency, as first responders are impeded in carrying out their lawful duties.

Corporal James says the hope is for the ministerial order to be issued before the end of this week, to mitigate against any further re-occurrence. The call comes after 37-year-old Constable Donald Carr died following a motor vehicle accident along the North-South Highway in St. Ann, on Saturday, April 30. More details in this report:
