Some forty (40) revellers in St Ann were arrested for breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act, Sunday night. This after police were alerted to an illegal party just outside of Brown’s Town. The St Ann police are however disappointed that despite their efforts, a wanted man who was among the party-goers managed to escape the lawmen.

Among the patrons was Mantan Brown, a man police say was wanted but again managed to escape arrest.

Superintendent Kevin Francis says included in the prosecution were four persons from Runaway Bay who were also hosting an event. Making a total of 42 arrests in less than 24 hours.

The Superintendent says despite the many sensitization activities, some residents refuse to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols
