The Jamaica Constabulary Force has launched a top-level probe in the killing of a Police Constable in Gregory Park in Portmore, St. Catherine on Tuesday night.
Constable Jermaine Bennett was killed while he was reportedly visiting his child.
Reports from the police are that at about 9:45 Bennett was attacked by gunmen who entered in the yard on Main Street, Gregory Park in the parish where he also resides.
The constable was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
