Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson on Monday charged several of his commanders and officers not to turn away anyone seeking their help, despite their socio-economic or physical appearance.

This after news of several incidents of the police allegedly refusing to serve or protect citizens seeking their help.

The Commissioner says building a force for good will require a new approach to policing, one that caters to all.

Many are enraged after a video making the rounds on social media show a man who appeared injured during an arrest.

Allegations are that the man was being arrested because he was not wearing a mask, breaching the Disaster Risk Management Act, DRMA.

Police say the incident took place Friday in the half way tree bus park.
