The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP), is dismissing claims that the Party is divided and not supportive of Leader Mark Golding. Several of its high-ranking members were present at the PNP’s Annual Central Kingston Conference on Saturday night, in a show of solidarity.

The Opposition Party says it is on the road to pick up the pieces, following recent fallouts within the organization, including recent resignations of Vice Presidents Damion Crawford, Dr. Wykeham Mcneill, Mikael Phillips, and Chairman Phillip Paulwell.

At the Conference, not only was Phillip Paulwell and Mikael Phillips present but comrade Lisa Hanna was also there. She expressed her support for Party Leader Mark Golding, who she lost to in the presidential race.

Party Leader Mark Golding says the centre of the party’s focus is the people which they will build through education. Golding says the PNP will prioritize early childhood and primary education to level the playing field for every child in Jamaica.

Imani Duncan Price, PNP representative for central Kingston denounces crime within the constituency and adds that the party is making strides in improving the livelihoods of the people.
