PETROJAM Donates To Jamaica’s Health Sector

PETROJAM Limited donates to enable transportation in the Health Sector – The Jamaican health sector has received assistance from one Jamaican oil refinery to be more proactive in combating COVID-19. Meanwhile, one businessman says this is a way to highlight corporate Jamaica’s efforts in contributing to the fight against the virus.

PETROJAM Jamaica limited has donated 350,000 dollars worth of fuel to the Ministry of Health in assisting health workers to be more efficient in responding to COVID-19.

Chairman of the South Regional Health Authority Wayne Chen, speaking at the recent handing over ceremony says this initiative displays the priority of PETROJAM and the social awareness of corporate Jamaica.

Minister of Science and Technology Daryl Vaz says he’s reassured that this boost in the health sector will further enable transportation, as the virus has a called for a collaborative effort.

Vaz further added that he’s pleased that through his ministry they are working assiduously to make Jamaica a safe and healthy country to live in.
