PATH Case Management ‘Woefully Inadequate’

Opposition Senator Dr. Floyd Morris says the Programme of Advancement through Health and Education (PATH) is being mismanaged by the Government.

Additionally, Senator Morris said social workers are woefully inadequate in the case management of the PATH programme.

Senator Morris says currently there is an estimate of 200 social workers in the programme, when in fact the country should have at least a thousand social workers.

He also called for the inclusion of people with disabilities in mainstream society.

He was speaking at his State of the Nation address yesterday, July 23.
