The Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) has sought to provide clarity on the 1.6 Billion Dollars paid out to contractors in the farm rehabilitation programme after they appeared before Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee.
The Auditor General’s Report into the performance of RADA has revealed several breaches in the procurement guidelines as well as the questionable selection of farm roads and contractors.
