Former Opposition Senator, Wentworth Skeffrey, is the latest to condemn the Prime Minister’s statement on the National Housing Trust (NHT). Skeffrey says the government must not be allowed to jeopardize the core objectives of the institution. This follows the Prime Minister’s statement, that the NHT is not a welfare institution, but is first and foremost a financial institution to support the development of housing in Jamaica.
