Opposition Accuses MOH of Double Standards

The opposition spokesman on health and the Health Minister went at it in parliament over the use of the drug Ivermectin. The opposition spokesman says, studies, show that countries have been utilizing the drug with some reduction in mortality and morbidity.

He says if the Health Ministry conducts a survey within the public health system, the vast majority of doctors would press a case for ivermectin. 

But the Health Minister says the government will not be taking any unnecessary risk.
