The tragic accident along the Long Hill Main Road in St. James resulted in at least one confirmed fatality and seven individuals rushed to the hospital.
The accident involved a bus carrying numerous students from Anchovy High School in the parish on Thursday afternoon. The bus reportedly veered off the roadway and plunged into a ravine – heavy rainfall is believed to have played a contributing factor in this unfortunate incident.
