New Year Babies

At 2:06 this morning the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston welcomed the first baby of the decade.

A baby boy. The mother says she is very excited at the birth of her bouncing baby boy.

The second to be born at Jubilee hospital was a girl, who was welcomed at 2:45 am. And just over an hour later another baby boy was welcomed into the world at 3:52 am.

Over at the St. Ann’s bay hospital mothers and nurses were overjoyed as they greeted the newborn babies. Three babies were at the time CVM LIVE visited, one girl and two boys. Nigerian midwife who delivered them explains that it was a wonderful experience.

The mothers were all given gifts for their babies. The sponsors say they are quite honored to be a part of the initiative.
