New Haven residents protest after three weeks of flooding- Meanwhile angry residents of Riverside Gardens in New Haven protesting on Washington Boulevard about the current state of the community now flooded for the third consecutive week.  The residents say they are living in inhumane conditions and are worried about the rate of response by the authorities.

The protest caused bumper to bumper traffic on Six Miles which prompted the intervention of the police…Representatives from the Constituency Office tried calming protestors explaining that their hands are tied.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness said the funding would be made available to clean the gully. However, residents argue that the matter needs urgency based on the rainfall over the weekend.
