A Surgical Neurologist says administering vaccines to someone who has the virus may cause blood clots as both vaccine and the virus causes hyper inflammation.

He is calling on the Government to look into administering PCR test to know the patients status before giving the jab.

There has been growing concern as to the side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine and though the vaccine’s in the early stages of research there are many skeptics.

Consultant Surgical Neurologist and Social Commentator,  Dr. Roger Hunter says the vaccine could cause much complication if administered to a person who has the virus or was inoculated up to a month after contracting the virus.

Opposition Spokesperson on Health, Dr. Morais Guy says though he gives some merit to hunter’s suggestion, he believes more research is needed to make a definite claim.

Additionally, Dr. Hunter says people with co-morbidities who have contracted the virus may find the treatment expensive since the medications to preserve their health is expensive.

A patient with co morbidities explained how their treatment almost  cost them close to 400 thousand dollars to acquire the required medications.

Dr. Hunter says ultimately keeping one’s health in check and controlling co-morbidities is the only way to completely reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
