President of the National Democratic Movement (NDM) Peter Townsend welcomed news of an impending media briefing on Tuesday, February 15, by the Firearms Licensing Authority, FLA.
Townsend says he is hoping more than just crucial questions regarding the approval or granting of firearm licensing will be addressed and greater levels of transparency will be had. Since CVM LIVE, brought fresh attention to the operations at the Firearm Licenses Authority (FLA) is set for a media briefing to address some of those concerns.
Attorney Peter Townsend, who is also President of the National Democratic Movement, says he hopes the briefing will not be an act of window dressing.
Townsend says there are many critical questions and concerns about how they operate that he hopes will be addressed. The FLA has its own appeal process reviewed by the appeal board, which again can be delayed for various reasons. Townsend however has his own questions and concerns.
