Acting on intelligence, the police conducted several operations during the hours of 8:30 am and 9 pm. Deputy Commissioner of police in charge of crime and security, Fitz Bailey, provides insight.

In one instance several items were seized including pieces of police uniform and other security equipment as well as illegal weapons and multiple rounds of ammunition.

A further search led to the recovery of three Glock-17 magazines with two 9mm cartridges, 1 Glock-19 magazine, one plastic m-16 magazine, 18.38 spent casings, three outside gun holsters, and one inside gun holster as well as a firearm cleaning kit.

In another operation, a man identified as Kavane Green was held and a Glock magazine containing seventeen 9mm rounds was found.

Police Thwart Contract Killing Of 3 Women, District Constable Arrested

Meanwhile, the police’s operation also led to the interception of a red Toyota Yaris motorcar along Washington Boulevard where three people including the district constable were arrested. The district constable has been identified as 28-year old Andrew Wright. Wright is attached to the technical services division, the others, Adrian Graham otherwise called ‘Shabba’ and 23-year old Aaron Brown also called ‘Jj’.

CVM Live understands that the district constable submitted his resignation in November but it has not yet been processed and he was on sick leave. DCP Bailey says the three women were identified and interviewed by the police and arrangements were made to protect them.

CVM Live has also been reliably informed that the contractual killing was ordered by an individual overseas. DCP Bailey says the financial investigations divisions will also be contacted to assist the investigations.
