Person of interest in police custody and Member of Parliament Floyd Green appeals for witnesses to come forward. On South Western St Elizabeth MP, Floyd Green visited the family of slain Sandy Bank Infant School teacher, Chantelle Smith. Green says the community is still in shock as they mourn the loss of the 28-year-old who was gunned down Tuesday. The police have confirmed that one person of interest is now in custody. 

Member of Parliament Floyd Green says the St Elizabeth police have confirmed that at least one man listed as a person of interest is now in police custody in relation to smith’s death. Green and a team to include teachers and education ministry officials on Wednesday visited smith’s family home following the tragedy. He’s urging anyone with information that can assist with the investigations to contact the police. Smith was gunned down at the gate just outside the school she taught Tuesday by men on a bike.
