The pending implementation of the new Road Traffic Act will see to a myriad of violations becoming ticketable offences, a fate not all motorists are aware of. The use of cell phones and the act of watching videos or any screen usage while driving will officially be ticketed. 

Subsequently, police will be on the lookout for dark-tinted vehicles. One taxi operator, says it is not as simple as following the rules, as he laments the police’s unreasonable actions. Yet those who have already been ticketed say the process of straightening their records is also extraneous. Communications Director of the One Voice Transportation Group Oscar Finnikin mirrors these sentiments, he says he has personal experience.
