Heavy rainfall in Kingston and St.Andrew has done a great deal of damage to several areas.
A section of the road on Palmoral Avenue, Mona, St. Andrew has collapsed, and the Deputy Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew, Winston Ennis is linking the damage to heavy rainfall.
Earlier on Thursday, a team from the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) closed the area in an effort to protect road users.
However, motorists and even cyclists are still determined to take the risk.
The Deputy Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew, Winston Ennis is advising all users of that area to desist from doing so.
In addition, he says arrangements are being made to re-construct the area of the road that has been damaged.
