The Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce (COC) is in support of the reinstated States of Public Emergency (SOPE). That is according to President Oral Heaven, who says the parish has seen the effectiveness of the security measures and notes the business community in the parish has been in support of the Enhanced Security Measures Act (ESMA). With Montego Bay being a popular hub for tourism, Heaven also highlights other steps that can help to curtail crime in the western parish.
