The Department of Correctional Services will see a boost in staff, with 93 new graduates from the Carl Rattray Staff College in St Ann. Speaking at the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, Minister of State for National Security Zavia Mayne, urged the graduates to stay away from corruption, to avoid being reprimanded. He’s urging the new recruits to remain positive and lead by example, noting they will play a critical role in the transformation of the department.
The State Minister says the correctional department continues to demonstrate its relevance to the country, through the application of its diverse skill-set, core value, and sense of duty. More details in this report:
