The St. William Grant Park, in Downtown Kingston, is set to reopen to members of the public. The famous park has been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
After a recent plea for the reopening of the Park, citizens should expect what seemingly appears to be an early new year gift. While attending the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation feeding of the homeless program on New Year’s Day, Kingston Mayor Delroy Williams says the park is scheduled for a deserving facelift.
Mayor Williams says the previous closure of the park was inevitable due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
