Man Shot Dead After Beheading Another Man

Residents of Seaforth, St Thomas are attempting to make sense of the strange and deadly ordeal that claimed two lives in one day. The incident has pushed to nearly forty murders since January in the parish.

Two men are dead in what community member call one of the most bizarre incidents they have seen in years. The men have been identified as Jason Joseph otherwise called Egghead and Alwayne Roberts.

Our news team understands that the men had a dispute Saturday morning, resulting in Roberts decapitating Joseph. It is reported that Roberts threw Joseph’s head in a toilet in the back of his yard before attempting to flee the community in Joseph’s car.

However, he did not make good on his escape as he was soon attacked by unknown assailants who shot and killed him in the vehicle. Councillor for the Seaforth Division Joan Spencer says she is frustrated with the influx of crime in the division. Spencer says the gruesome murders have shaken the community.

The killings are among several others in the parish this year. Reports are that there have been thirty-eight murders since January, thirteen of which occurred in Seaforth.
