Man Killed In Confrontation with Jamaica Constabulary Force

Police responded to reports of gunshots on Rafel Road in the Maxfield community on Thursday night. They were met with gunfire; the altercation resulted in the death of a known violence producer known as daddy.

Disgruntled residents set up road blocks this morning to express their ire. One resident, who wished to give her account off camera, was awake when the incident happened around 11:30 pm on Thursday. Another resident, though not quick to defend his innocence says the community lost confidence in law enforcement and Morris supported community members. Commanding officer for the West Kingston Division Micheal Phipps revealed that Morris was the leader of the William Road gang.

He say’s Morris was a deportee, charged with murder in 2020 and was due in court on March 23 this year.
