Maitland Detained by CTOC Re Donna Lee Probe

Police Constable Noel Maitland is in police custody. The constable was arrested by the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigations Branch (CTOC) in relation to missing social media influencer, Donnalee Donaldson. His attorney Christopher Townsend says insists his client is a law-abiding citizen.

He says no charges have been laid against his client. Who is also expected to be questioned by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) on August 3. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the crime portfolio, DCP Fitz Bailey says there is sufficient evidence to detain Maitland until further investigations in relation to the matter.

The DCP says there is however no evidence to link Maitland’s child’s mother at this time. Donaldson has been missing for nearly two weeks. Loved ones have long asked for Maitland a police man and his child’s mother also a police to be named as suspects into her disappearance. Watch the full report:
