The Lionel Town hospital in Clarendon, received a boost in resources from the Sanmerna Foundation recently. CEO of the hospital Nadine Preddie is welcoming stakeholders support for the facility’s efforts. After the Covid-19 pandemic, hospitals across the island have been under pressure with bed capacity and other resources. Preddie says this contribution has been critical after falling short in well needed equipment. Sanmerna Foundation Director Robert White says the foundation will continue to support hospitals across the country.

He’s appealing to corporate companies to play a part in developing Jamaica. Meanwhile, the hospital’s CEO is welcoming stakeholders support for the facility’s efforts. She says no contribution is too small.
