Vendors at the historic Linstead Market in St. Catherine are calling on the Chairman of the Municipal Corporation to make repairs to the roof of the market.

They say their goods are being damaged whenever it rains.

Chairman of the Corporation and Mayor of Spanish Town, Councilor Norman Scott told our news team, that a section of the market has been re-roofed.

But when CVM Live visited the market, holes were seen in sections of the roof.

when it rains vendors place buckets in the areas to catch the  water seeping through.

The market is one of the Jamaica 50 legacy projects, a renovation project which began in 2012.
