The Jamaica Teacher’s Association (JTA) President La Sonja Harrison is drawing the Ministry of Education’s attention to teachers across the island who have not received their pay.

The JTA has been lobbying for teachers to be properly compensated for their efforts, and Harrison says this is a major setback in that regard. This comes on the heels of the union expressing frustration towards the Ministry of Finance and Public Service, for not fulfilling their promises of compensation to teachers.
