JLP Campaign Begins In East Portland

The Jamaica Labour Party has began to campaign in East Portland ahead of the party’s annual conference this month.

Members of the party were out in their numbers to address supporters. The Member of Parliament for East Portland, AnnMarie Vaz reminded those present that the JLP is working in their favour. She also called on them to remain vigilant and work to keep the JLP in power and as the next government. Vaz went further to note that the future of the Jamaica Labour Party is dependent on every supporter.

Meanwhile the Minister of Local Government and Community Development who is also the  Member of Parliament for West Kingston, Desmond Mckenzie also addressed the supporters. While lauding Vaz for her work in the constituency, he spoke of the JLP’s work in local government.
