Almost two weeks since Donnalee Donaldson has been missing, relatives and friends have intensified their pursuit, seeking justice and closure for the missing woman. On Sunday, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) gave an update on investigations into the disappearance of Donaldson. They confirmed that significant progress has been made in the investigation, which is being led by a superintendent of police and overseen by the criminal investigations branch. A case review conference will be held this week with the director of public prosecutions and senior members of her staff.

Senior Communication Strategist for the JCF, Dennis Brooks, is countering criticisms from the public on the alleged lack of urgency in carrying out an investigation for the missing 24-year-old. He says since a missing report was filed, the police have been diligent in their efforts. Brooks says while he understands the history of distrust between the public and the JCF, the police are treating the matter with all seriousness on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, he went further to warn persons who are sending out misleading information on social media, that such action is a distraction to the ongoing investigation. The JCF is once again reassuring all concerned parties that the investigation into the disappearance of Donaldson, is being conducted according to the highest standard. Watch the report below:
