The Jamaica Constabulary Force on Monday hosted a special press briefing to update the nation on the investigations into missing social media influencer Donnalee Donaldson. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey says despite the public demanding information, the police must exercise discretion in sharing the details of the investigation.
Bailey confirms that the boyfriend was interviewed and the statement was recorded, however when the District Constable was approached, she refused to give a statement. Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner says as much as the public is demanding information, persons have to be mindful that the investigation cannot be done in the open, therefore, what is gleaned by the police, must be protected.
