President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) Lenworth Fulton says consumers should anticipate higher prices for vegetables and sorrel as the Christmas season approaches. He says the increase comes after several crops were damaged last month by tropical storm Ian. President Fulton says consumers should start using alternative vegetables to avoid overspending. He says the popular Jamaican sorrel plant was also affected by heavy rains which will result in shortages for the Christmas season. Watch the report below:
