Jamaica Marks 58 Years of Independence

As is customary on Independence Day, the leaders of both political parties shared messages.

The leaders highlighted the Coronavirus, COVID-19 outbreak as having crippling effects on livelihoods, businesses, and the economy.

Additionally, high levels of crime and corruption in the ruling party have cast a cloud over the positive developments.

Both leaders argue that the country is slowly recovering from the Coronavirus.
