Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party media conference on Thursday, November 24 at Royalton Trelawny, the Minister says their first interactive digital political conference will be held on Sunday under the theme “Building Back Stronger”.

Minister McKenzie says the conference will be held in accordance with the party’s constitution. He notes that in order for a conference to be lawfully constituted 500 members must be in attendance and this will be facilitated virtually. He says the conference will be streamed from ten locations across the country. The National Indoor Arena in Kingston will be the main location. McKenzie is asking supporters not to visit any of the locations unless they have been approved.

Meanwhile, the Deputy party leader says Prime Minister Andrew Holness will address the issue of national security at Sunday’s virtual conference.
