Jamaica: Klansman Gang Affiliates Killed By Police

The police say two men who were affiliated with the Klansman gang were killed by police along Kings Street in Spanish Town, St. Catherine on Saturday night.

Reports from the police are that several men traveling in a Nissan motor car confronted them in a gunfight. The men were shot and later pronounced dead at the Spanish Town hospital. The men have been identified as Cornell McKenzie also called CJ and Dennis Francis is also known as Steve.

The special counter gang task force is responsible for the recent disruption in the Klansman gang. The team consists of members from specialized operations swat and the St. Catherine north police. SSP Lindsay says as the police move to disrupt the gang is ongoing and is expected to significantly weaken the criminal network.

A 29 year old woman who the police say is a high ranking member of the Klansman gang was arrested.

The woman according to the police is the known spouse of reputed leader of the Klansman gang, Tesha Miller.

She has since been granted bail at the amount of 500,000.
