Community Blackboard Initiative Gone Viral: Residents Hail Teachers as unsung heroes – By now you would have seen the UNICEF video of a group of teachers lending a hand to help students stay connected in school during the Coronavirus, COVID-19 outbreak. Residents are calling them the unsung heroes of COVID-19. The educators say they are motivated by the Ministry of Education’s ‘every child can learn, every child must learn’ 2001 policy.

Reporter Jamaila Maitland set out this morning to observe how these educators are helping to bridge the digital divide.
