Members of the St. James Health Department carried out a clean-up operation at the controversial Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries on Tuesday, November 2 . CVM Live recently reported that there was a stench emanating from the garbage strewn compound, labeling it a public health nuisance.
Residents of the Albion St. James community are now breathing a breath of fresh air following the recent intervention of the St. James health services to clean up the compound of the embattled Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries, labeled a public health nuisance.
Parish Manager at the St. James Health Department, Lennox Wallace, says the department intervened after receiving reports last week of a dip in the air quality caused by a foul stench emanating from the building and mounting piles of garbage. He noted that if the property was not cleaned based on the notice that was given, then the agencies combined done the necessary measures and logged a report to recoup the money that was spent.
Mr. Wallace says the department will be closely monitoring the property to prevent any further public health breaches. He also lauded the efforts of the Albion residents in reporting the deplorable conditions of the property.
