The ‘Make An Impact Altogether’ (MAIA) Foundation is actively working to accelerate collaboration and community building in Jamaica with the help of agriculture through the establishment of ecovillages in west Kingston communities, they hope to lessen instances of criminal activity as well.
West Kingston’s Hannah Town ecovillage expansion has been officially opened thanks to an over 37 thousand US Dollar investment. The eco-garden was executed by MAIA (Make An Impact Altogether) Foundation and boasts 2,500 assorted vegetable seedlings in raised bed gardens and four fruit trees in 80 tons of MAIA’s proprietary organic blend of compost.
