As several communities across the island still struggle to access potable water, Senator Matthew Samuda says it is the government’s intention to address these concerns.

Though it will take a united effort if they wish to see continued improvement from the National Water Commission (NWC).  With access to potable water being desired by citizens across the island, who have long gone without, the rapid commissioning of pipeline projects has been well received.  

Minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Senator Matthew Samuda, continues to push for Jamaica to become a more resilient nation as it relates to water. As he acknowledges the struggle some citizens still have with accessing water, Samuda says the government will be targeting these areas.
