The Opposition, while on tour in North and Northwest Clarendon notes that farmers are facing difficulties, however, he says under a government led by the People’s National Party, local farmers can expect more. 

Opposition Leader Mark Golding explained that better farming and agricultural policies are needed to guide farmers through these times. He was speaking during a tour of Clarendon, Wednesday, where he sympathized with farmers bemoaning rising input costs.
