St Patrick’s Primary in Waterhouse, Kingston, is calling for proper collection of garbage. They say due to the garbage pile-up; students have been forced out of face-to-face learning.

Stakeholders at the Primary School are pleading with the relevant authorities for the consistent collection of garbage. They say the garbage has not been collected for over a month, and the garbage heap negatively impacts students’ learning.

Rodents have moved onto the compound rent-free; some students have reverted to online learning. Councillor for the Waterhouse Division, Byron Clarke, says several calls were made by the school’s administration, however, their efforts have been futile. Watch the report for details:
