With the ban on funerals still in effect, the President of the Funeral Directors Association of Jamaica has called attention to two pressing issues.

He says the country needs more pathologists as this will significantly reduce storage and thereby, storage fees. He says he would like to see the government save money that will in turn save the country.

President of the Funeral Directors Association of Jamaica Melvin Honeyghan says the funeral industry continues to grapple with the restrictions.

Honeyghan who’s also the owner and managing director of Honeyghan’s Funeral Service argues that Jamaica needs more pathologists, alleging that for years, funerals have been sabotaged by the government.
