Former Director and Shareholder of Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL), Hugh Croskery, walked free after a triumphant court battle with the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
His attorneys, Peter Champagnie KC and Neco Pagon challenged the court order that surfaced after the FSC obtained an ex parte injunction against Mr Croskery restraining him from dealing with any asset of the company pending a civil suit.
Croskery, in his bid to have an injunction order with his dealings in SSL removed, was successful today after Supreme Court Judge, Stephanie Jackson Haisley, lifted the injunction against Mr Croskery.
Following the ruling, the FSC was ordered to pay the legal costs of Mr Croskery.
Meanwhile, his attorney says he is still willing to provide assistance and cooperation going forward, as investigations continue. The injunction placed against former Director and Shareholder of Stocks and Securities Limited, SSL, Hugh Croskery was lifted on Thursday, by order of the Supreme Court. In January the Financial Services Commission FSC had obtained an ex parte injunction against him restraining him from dealing in any assets concerning SSL.
