The Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) will be penalizing firearm holders with outdated licenses, from 5-million-dollar fines to 5 years imprisonment. As they lament their tireless efforts to contact persons whose licenses have lapsed, they say they will be taking action.

Following the end of the two-week-long gun amnesty, Chief Executive Officer of the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) Shane Dalling says the agency will now be seeking to revoke outdated licenses.

Dalling says, over 6 thousand persons have not sought to regularize their licenses. He says these delinquent users will be sent notices warning them to bring in their firearms and their outdated authorization, or face penalization.
