Authorities in Hanover have identified three individuals who are being sought for questioning in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday evening, resulting in the deaths of two out of five victims. Law enforcement agencies are also urging residents to refrain from providing shelter to unfamiliar individuals or distant relatives from other areas without properly verifying the reasons behind their sudden arrival and need for refuge.
Superintendent Sharon Beeput, Commanding Officer, Hanover Police Division says relatives however ought to take precautionary measures when friends and loved ones suddenly decide to spend time in their rural homes after not visiting for years. She says that sometimes these visitors are embroiled in criminal matters and later invite death into the rural households.
