Dennis Chung, a Chartered Accountant and Financial Analyst, expresses bewilderment over the recent sentiments of worry and concern arising from the management shakeup at the National Commercial Bank, NCB. The company recently parted ways with two long-serving top executives, who are now discussing severance and a settlement after almost two decades of service.
However, Chung insists NCB remains viable and should return to winning ways with the billionaire-led Michael Lee-Chin and his team. He notes the two former NCB executives have proven over the years to be men of integrity adding he had no doubt the blame being brought against them for dividends was unfair. Chung reminds though Lee Chin is Chairman of the board he cannot unilaterally decide to pay dividends as he sees fit. However, he says as it stands, he sees no need for panic. Watch the report:
