Females are being urged to be on high alert, amid the eye-opening findings of a nearly two-decade study on rape shared exclusively with CVM news.  the research shows, younger women are most at risk, accounting for over 70 per cent of the victims.  Rape – a trigger word for many women and men – has been an unsavory part of the Jamaican crime culture strengthened, by victims’ silence. 

Researcher Dr Paul Bourne found that those cases that have been reported over the last 22 years can help females prevent rape and protect their loved ones today.
